WHO AM I?
I’m not a career politician. I’m a father, a neighbor, and a visionary from an underprivileged background who's lived the journey of struggle and hope. I was born in a small village in India, where there was no electricity or clean water. However, I believed in the importance of hard work and education, which drove me to earn a master’s degree and pursue a career in software engineering.
My life journey brought me to Bellevue 25 years ago with just $50 and a dream, and this community made that dream real. Now, it’s time for me to give back. I’ve led nonprofit work that brought people together—organizing blood drives, helping underserved communities, and building connections through arts and culture. I’ve seen up close what our community needs—and where we’re falling short.
WHY AM I RUNNING?
I’m running because I care deeply about this district and the challenges we face:
-
Education must be fully funded for every child
-
Housing must be affordable—Bellevue’s average rent is now over $2,400/month
-
Mental health services need real investment
-
Transit and infrastructure must improve to reduce congestion
-
And we must stay committed to bold climate action
This campaign is about all of us. It’s about building a future where every voice is heard, every family has an opportunity, and no one is left behind. I will ensure the opportunities I was provided will continue to be attainable for everyone in our shared tomorrow.
I ask for your support, your trust, and your vote—not just to represent you, but to work daily for you with the same drive that has brought me to where I am today.
Washington State's 48th Legislative District
The 48th Legislative District is one of 49 districts represented in the Washington State Legislature. Located on the Eastside, it includes portions of Redmond, Bellevue (including the West Lake Sammamish area), and Kirkland, as well as the communities of Clyde Hill, Yarrow Point, Hunts Point, and Medina. The district is also home to Bridle Trails State Park and Marymoor Park.
This district represents a cross-section of Washington’s future: families raising children, tech professionals driving innovation, seniors aging in place, and small business owners anchoring our local economy. The 48th values strong public schools, modern infrastructure, environmental stewardship, affordable housing, and responsive mental health care.
I seek to serve all of our community—every neighborhood, every family, and every voice—by working to ensure responsive, inclusive, and effective representation in Olympia.

MISSION STATEMENT
Equality Meets Opportunity
My mission is to bring bold, practical leadership to Olympia—grounded in real-world experience and focused on the challenges our communities face every day. I’m committed to fully funding public education, investing in our kids’ future, and keeping schools open and strong. I’ll fight for smarter transit solutions that ease traffic and support growth that works for everyone.
With a background in technology, I bring a problem-solving mindset to big issues—like making housing more affordable, expanding access to mental health care, and taking meaningful, urgent action on climate.
This moment calls for both vision and practicality. I believe we can build a future that’s more just, more livable, and more connected—for all of us. Let’s get to work, together.
Opportunity for All
Every child deserves a great education, and every person deserves a fair shot at a good job
My kids went through the public school system, so I have seen how hard our teachers work—and how much they need our support. I’m committed to ensuring that they have the resources, training, and support necessary to perform their jobs effectively, particularly in special education and classrooms that require tailored materials and approaches.
Beyond the classroom, we need to expand opportunities for people to gain the skills they need for good jobs, which includes stronger apprenticeship programs, hands-on training, and real partnerships with local industries.
When we invest in education and workforce development, we’re investing in the future of our community, giving people the tools to grow, helping families stay strong, and building an economy that works for everybody.
Stewardship for Future Generations
Protecting our environment is a responsibility we all share
Washington’s natural beauty is what makes our home so special, but it’s under real threat from the growing reality of climate change. We need to act with urgency, and that means using science and putting equity at the center of our environmental policies.
I’m committed to helping our state move toward a clean energy future that's fair for everyone. This means cutting emissions while ensuring that disproportionately impacted communities—especially BIPOC and low-income populations—see real, lasting benefits. We can achieve this through direct investment in things like renewable energy access, energy-efficient homes, clean public transit, and new green infrastructure.
At the same time, we need to protect our forests, watersheds, and green spaces, as they play a vital role in our health and children’s future. I believe in smart land management, climate-resilient forestry, and stronger wildfire prevention and response—because the climate crisis isn’t coming; it's here.
Climate policy can’t be one-size-fits-all. It has to be bold, inclusive, and rooted in justice. I’m committed to real solutions that protect our environment and lift up every community.
Dignity and Belonging
Everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, and at home—no matter where they’re from.
Immigrants are a vital part of our Washington community—we’re neighbors, coworkers, small business owners, and community leaders. We bring stories, skills, and perspectives that enrich our state and help build a better future for everyone. Welcoming immigrants isn’t just the right thing to do—it makes us stronger.
As an immigrant myself, I know what it feels like to face fear and uncertainty because of where you come from. I’ve seen the harm caused by anti-immigrant policies and rhetoric. That’s why I will always stand up for dignity, safety, and the rights of all in our community—and push back against the policies that dehumanize and divide us.
I believe in a Washington where every immigrant—regardless of status—is treated with respect and compassion, and has a real shot at opportunity. That means expanding access to legal help, social services, and language support across education, healthcare, and public safety.
We also need to stay vigilant and united against fear-based policies, unjust detention, and deportation threats. Our communities should feel safe and supported—not targeted or silenced.
